Policy

How this works.

Permitted claim

A holder may say it holds a current BC Aligned private certificate only for the named scope and criteria while the registry shows an active status. Link to the verification record when possible.

Prohibited claim

Do not call the certificate UKAS accredited, an ISO award, an approval by BSI, or an endorsement by a public body. Do not extend the scope to another site, process, product or organisation.

Status changes

A suspension, withdrawal or expiry ends active-use rights until the registry shows reinstatement. BC Aligned may ask for misleading material to be corrected.
