Governance
Conflict-of-interest policy.
Identify interests that could distort advice, research or assessment.
Policy
How this works.
Disclose
Editors, experts, assessors and reviewers disclose financial, personal or organisational interests relevant to the work. The disclosure is reviewed before assignment or publication.
Manage
Possible controls include an independent reviewer, role separation, qualified disclosure, recusal or declining the work. The reason for a decision is recorded.
Certification
A person who sold or led implementation support should not make an unreviewed final certificate decision where that role would compromise objectivity.
